7 n Paperstock 2015 PaperStock features the prints of many current and popular concert poster artists and silkscreen print artists. Art for everyone is the focus of this exhibition and festival-goers will be able to peruse art and maybe even find their favorite new print to purchase directly from the artist! On-site screen- printing demonstrations will also show attendees how prints are produced. Find Paperstock in the International Fountain Pavilion Saturday–Monday (Map #11) n Fiber Arts Returns All you DIYers out there — come join in on the Fiber Arts fun at Folklife! Whether you’re interested in knitting, beading, sewing, stitching or any other fine art that uses linear and/ or pliable elements as key materials, you are welcome. Those interested in seeing quilts, scarves, jewelry, and other fiber art projects come to life are also welcome. Artist demonstrations will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fisher Apron (between the Roadhouse and the Fisher Green Stage). n Drawing Jam Curated by Gage Academy of Art Drawing from observation is a simple and satisfying act of self-expression that connects the head, the heart and the hand.This year, Gage Academy of Art, a local art school that teaches the foundational principles of drawing, sculpting and painting to people of all skill-levels, brings THERE’S A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AT FOLKLIFE their much-loved Drawing Jam to the Festival! Brass Band Finale Show Monday starting around 7:25 p.m. on the Fisher Green, ending on the Fountain Lawn stage for the 7:45 p.m. show.
