The Bite Cooks!
Cooking demos:
Each day local chefs will perform cooking demonstrations of some of their
favorite dishes, and guests can get a copy of the recipe to try at home!
Mystery ingredient cook-offs:
Who will be named
The Bite Cooks!
Master? Local chefs will go head
to head in mystery-ingredient cook-offs! For the cook-offs, chefs will
be given three mystery ingredients, a small pantry of basic cooking
staples and only 30 minutes to make their dish. Then they will leave it
up to the audience to judge their final entrée and name the winner!
All demonstrations will be done on a fully-equipped stage provided
by Albert Lee Appliance. Thank you to Charlie’s Produce for a

Chef Thierry Rautureauwill be the
emcee for the 9th year in a row!
Chef Rautureau, owner of the popular Seattle restaurants Luc
and Loulay Kitchen and Bar, is known for his four-star cooking,
culinary expertise and his trademark yellow fedora. In 2012,
Rautureau competed on Bravo’s “Top Chef Masters,” and he
is a James Beard Award winner for Best Chef in the Pacific
Northwest. Rautureau has also been featured in publications
such as Gourmet, Zagat and USA Today.
